Description
The 1.0mm ER 308L TIG Filler Weld Star Pack 5Kg is an austenitic stainless steel welding wire with a low carbon content designed to minimise the risk of intergranular carbide precipitation during welding. This improves resistance to intergranular corrosion without the need for stabilising elements such as niobium or titanium. ER308L offers excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in nitric acid environments, together with outstanding mechanical properties at cryogenic temperatures down to -197°C.
