Description
The 1.6mm ER 385 TIG Filler Weld Star Pack 5Kg is a super austenitic stainless steel TIG filler rod developed for applications requiring exceptional resistance to stress corrosion cracking and aggressive chemical environments. The high nickel content combined with copper additions provides excellent resistance to sulphuric acid solutions, while the fully austenitic weld structure offers superior resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. Its microstructure is less sensitive to ferrite and sigma phase precipitation than conventional high molybdenum stainless steel grades.
