Pozi Countersunk Decking Screw Stainless Steel A2
An economic yet highly effective softwood decking screw, manufactured from A2 stainless steel for superior corrosion resistance. Designed specifically for external applications, these screws are ideal for the construction of decking platforms where long term durability and appearance are critical. Stainless steel fixings must be used in corrosive environments or where the base material has inherent corrosive characteristics, such as green oak.
The double countersunk head reduces the likelihood of head shear and assists with clean countersinking, while the helix shank helps remove debris and improves clamping performance. A single slash point reduces driving torque and minimises the risk of timber splitting, particularly at low edge distances, ensuring a secure and reliable fixing in decking boards.
