5.5/6.3x70 Hex Comp. Panel to Light Section Steel Exterior S/D Screw/Washer Bi Metal/Silver Pack 100
These bi metal self-drilling screws are specifically designed for fixing composite panels to light section steel up to 5 mm thick without the need for pre drilling. A self-drilling point combined with a hexagon head and split thread delivers fast, secure installation and reliable pull through resistance. An integral EPDM sealing washer provides a weathertight seal at the fixing point, making the screw suitable for external cladding applications.
The hardened carbon steel drill tip is permanently fused to an A2-304 austenitic stainless steel body, offering the drilling performance of carbon steel with the long term corrosion resistance of stainless steel. The silver organic coating further enhances durability, making these fixings ideal for exposed and demanding external environments commonly found in roofing and cladding installations.
