Form G Washer DIN 9021 - Hot Dip Galvanised
Description
Form G washers manufactured from carbon steel with a hot dip galvanised finish to DIN 9021, designed to distribute the load of a threaded fastener over a significantly larger surface area. Form G (penny) washers feature a large outside diameter, approximately three times the nominal bolt diameter, making them ideal where maximum load spreading is required.
The hot dip galvanised coating provides a thick protective zinc layer for enhanced corrosion resistance in exposed environments. These washers provide a secure bearing surface between the fastener and the material being fixed, helping to reduce pull-through and surface damage when used with softer materials such as timber, plastics, insulation boards and thin sheet materials.
