Form G Washer DIN 9021 - Zinc Plated
Description
Form G washers manufactured from carbon steel with a zinc plated finish to DIN 9021, designed to distribute the load of a threaded fastener over a significantly larger surface area. Form G (penny) washers feature a large outside diameter, approximately three times the nominal bolt diameter, making them ideal where maximum load spreading is required.
The zinc plated finish provides corrosion resistance for general purpose applications. These washers provide a secure bearing surface between the fastener and the material being fixed, helping to reduce pull-through and surface damage when used with softer materials such as timber, plastics, insulation boards and thin sheet materials.
