The Alfra Long Series HSS Broaching Cutter is designed for rapid and accurate hole cutting in structural steel and other ferrous metals where increased cutting depth is required. Manufactured from premium high-speed steel, these annular cutters deliver excellent durability, reliable cutting performance and long service life. Featuring a 50mm cutting depth, they are ideal for drilling thicker materials and demanding professional applications. By removing only the material around the hole circumference, they reduce cutting resistance, minimise machine load and improve drilling efficiency. Suitable for use with magnetic drilling machines in fabrication, engineering and construction environments, the cutter must be used with the correct Alfra pilot pin to ensure accurate positioning, effective coolant delivery and reliable slug ejection. The long series design provides extended cutting capacity, making it ideal for professional metalworking operations where deeper hole cutting is required.
