The 1.0mm SG3 (G4Si1) MIG Wire Weld Star Pack 15Kg is a copper coated solid MIG welding wire manufactured to EN ISO 14341-A G4Si1 classification for single-pass and multi-pass welding of unalloyed and low-alloy carbon-manganese steels. Featuring a higher silicon and manganese content than standard SG2 wires, SG3 provides increased weld metal strength, enhanced deoxidation characteristics and excellent weld bead appearance. Designed for both semi-automatic and fully automatic GMAW applications, the wire delivers a stable arc, smooth weld deposits and dependable mechanical properties at temperatures down to -40°C. Manufactured using virgin raw materials sourced from specialised steel mills, SG3 offers outstanding consistency, reliability and welding performance across demanding fabrication environments.
