SCSS Spring Lock Washer DIN 7980 - Phosphor Bronze
Description
SCSS Spring lock washers manufactured from phosphor bronze to DIN 7980, designed to help prevent fasteners from loosening under vibration and dynamic loads. Produced from a single coil of square section material, the split washer design applies a spring force within the assembly to help maintain tension and improve joint security.
Phosphor bronze offers excellent corrosion resistance, good electrical conductivity and non-magnetic properties, making these washers particularly suitable for electrical, marine and specialist engineering applications. DIN 7980 washers are specifically designed for use with socket cap screws and socket button screws.
