The Alfra Long Series TCT Broaching Cutter is designed for fast, precise hole cutting in structural steel, stainless steel and other demanding materials where increased cutting depth is required. Featuring tungsten carbide tipped (TCT) cutting teeth, these annular cutters provide outstanding durability, increased wear resistance and longer service life compared to conventional HSS cutters. With a 50mm cutting depth, they are ideal for drilling thicker materials and more demanding applications. Suitable for use with compatible magnetic drilling machines, the cutter must be used with the correct Alfra pilot pin to ensure accurate positioning, effective coolant delivery and reliable slug ejection. By removing only the material around the hole circumference, the cutter reduces cutting resistance, minimises machine load and improves drilling efficiency. The long series design delivers exceptional productivity, extended cutting capacity and clean hole finishes in professional fabrication, engineering and construction environments.
